Routine inspection from 26 to 28 November 2024 under the new ISI framework. The school met all required standards. Governors and leaders demonstrate strong oversight, the curriculum is broad and encourages intellectual curiosity, and safeguarding systems are robust with clear reporting routes. At GCSE, 100% of entries achieved at least grade 4.

    Fiona Miles

    Head of Loughborough High School. Grew up in Hong Kong, moved to the UK at age ten, attended The Cheltenham Ladies' College as a full-time boarder. Read Geography at King's College London, completed PhD by age 24 in urban river response to engineering intervention. Studied English Literature at the University of Cambridge, taught for several years before retraining at King's College London to pursue medicine. Returned to teaching with a series of roles at Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls including Head of English, Assistant Head and Deputy Head (Academic). Former governor of a maintained primary school. (PhD, BA Geography (KCL), English Literature (Cambridge))
