- For over 400 years, Charterhouse has provided financial support to talented pupils whose families may not otherwise be able to afford our fees. Pupils in receipt of bursary support are valued members of our School community. All bursaries are means-tested and are subject to funds being available.

How bursary applications work
- Register your child for a place before the registration deadline — a bursary is applied for alongside, not instead.
- Complete the school's financial form (some schools use an external assessor) with P60s, tax returns, bank and savings statements.
- Many schools arrange a home visit between the assessment and the offer.
- The bursary decision usually arrives with, or shortly after, the offer — before you must accept.
- Awards are reassessed each year, so a change in circumstances can change the award.
