overview

Hurlingham is a non-selective co-ed nursery and prep school in Putney for ages 2–11, with 411 pupils. Despite being non-selective, it has an enviable academic record. Leavers go on to schools including Godolphin and Latymer, Hampton, and King's Wimbledon. Headteacher Simon Gould joined in 2020 after eight years as deputy head at Ravenscourt Park Prep. He attributes the school's success to a nurturing and supportive environment that provides a safe space for both academic and sporting achievement. As a former football coach, Gould runs the school with warmth and collegiality consistent with fostering team spirit.
