Routine inspection in January 2025 by a team of eight inspectors with over 80 lesson observations. One significant strength was identified: highly effective personalised feedback from teachers leading to sustained improvement in examination results. Pupils were described as motivated learners in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

After working briefly for the Civil Service as an economist, gained a PGCE at the University of London and entered teaching. Holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of London and a Master's degree in Applied Economics from SOAS, University of London. Previously Second Master (Senior Deputy Head) at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, and before that Head of Middle School and Head of Economics and Business Studies at Whitgift School. Took up post as Headmaster at Reed's in September 2014.
