In September 2024, Charlotte Talbot, a former principal dancer and Central School of Ballet graduate, succeeded as Chair of Governors, having served on the board since 2012. In August 2024, the school celebrated the graduation of 34 third-year students, many of whom joined professional companies both nationally and internationally. The graduating cohort also performed a successful Ballet Central tour, engaging over 2,500 audience members across various venues. 3%.

Find out more about what training is like at Central, from the perspective of our degree course ballet tutors… Central provides dance classes and intensives for young children, aspiring teenagers and adults to develop dance skills, wellbeing and general fitness. Central’s new home, The Countess of Wessex Studios, ideally located a 10 minute walk from Waterloo and 20 minutes from London Bridge, in Southwark SE1, offers amenities to rival dance training facilities anywhere in the UK; seven studios, The Gable Theatre (a fully equipped studio theatre), study and resource centres, a green room, and a well-equipped health and wellbeing suite.
