Recent coverage
Queen Ethelburga's College has been recognized as the North's Independent Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence and secured first and third place in the North for A Level results in 2024. The school also launched a weekly boarding program for Years 3 to 13 and introduced girls’ football scholarships starting September 2024. Additionally, the college opened a new state-of-the-art gym, inaugurated by Kevin Sinfield CBE, and earned two Silver RoSPA Awards for health and safety excellence.
