About this programme

Art History Abroad runs two-week summer art history courses in Italy for students aged 17 to 22, taught on site in small tutor groups of up to nine. The Southern Italy course visits Naples, Reggio Calabria, Syracuse, Agrigento and Palermo, the Northern Italy course visits Venice, Florence and Rome, and the two can be combined into a four-week course. Fees cover tuition, accommodation, breakfast, transport during the course and museum entry, while flights, lunch, supper and insurance are extra. Applicants complete an enquiry form and a short interview before registering with a deposit.

  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit secures a place, and the full fee must be paid before the course departs. Travel insurance including cancellation cover is required.
