About this programme

The Acosta Dance Foundation runs a Summer Intensive in two groups: Summer Advanced for ages 14 to 16 and Summer HUB for ages 17 to 21. Dancers register through the form on the foundation's registration page, applying either by in-person audition or by online video and photo submission. Dancers auditioning in person can be considered for Summer Intensive scholarships. Accommodation and full board are not included, although the foundation partners with a student accommodation provider next to its Woolwich studios.
Schedule
Two-week intensive in classical ballet, Tecnica Cubana Contemporanea and Afro-Cuban dance, 9:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.
Teachers
Teaching based on the Carlos Acosta curriculum, delivered by the Acosta Dance Foundation.

Entry

Application by photographs and video demonstrating barre, centre, allegro, arabesque, a la seconde and tendu devant; all female-identifying dancers must have a minimum of two years of pointe work experience.
