About this programme

Imperial Global Summer School is a two-week residential pre-university STEM programme for students aged 16 and 17, held at Imperial College London's South Kensington Campus. In week one students study one subject (Chemistry, Data Science and AI, Engineering, Medicine and Life Sciences or Physics), and in week two they join mixed-subject teams for the Innovation Challenge. Students live in on-campus accommodation at Prince's Gardens, and the fee covers tuition, accommodation, three meals a day and social activities. In 2026 it ran 29 June to 10 July and 3 to 14 August, with a fee of £7,695.

Week one: 50+ hours of lectures, seminars and practical sessions plus masterclasses; week two: a group Innovation Challenge, alongside a packed programme of social activities

Open to students aged 16 or 17 who do not turn 18 before or during the programme; strong interest in STEM
