About this programme

Fashion Summer Camp One is a two-week fashion design course for 16 to 18 year olds at JCA London Fashion Academy's campus on Hanover Square in Mayfair. Week one covers the fundamentals of fashion design, illustration and portfolio work, and week two moves to design development, sustainability, making garments and AI tools in fashion. Teaching is in the academy's studios with industry tutors, plus study visits to stores, museums and exhibitions in London. Students can take one week (£1,500) or both (£2,750), with a £150 deposit on application.
Schedule
Two-week course: week one covers fashion fundamentals (context, design process, illustration, portfolio); week two focuses on design development and making, supported by workshops, talks and London study visits

Students aged 16-18 with an interest in fashion design; no prior experience required
