About This Programme

King's Pre-University Summer School offers academically intensive one-week courses across disciplines such as Law, Medical Science, Business Management, Psychology, Computer Science and Politics, taught at King's Strand and Waterloo campuses in central London. Students can stack one to four week-long modules across July. Teaching mixes lectures and seminars with interactive discussion groups and guest speakers, and assignments are designed to reflect university-level assessment, leading to a King's Certificate of Participation.

Schedule: Week-long modules with a mix of lectures, seminars, discussion groups and guest-speaker sessions; supervised academic day Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm.

Admission Requirements

Open to academically motivated students aged 16-17 (must be 16 before the course start date and not turn 18 before the programme ends). Applicants submit official high school grades, a personal statement and evidence of English proficiency to at least CEFR B2 (e.g. IELTS 6.0).
