About this programme

Excellence Camp is a two-week expedition camp from Le Rosey Camps for a small group of 10 teenagers aged 13 to 16. The first week is spent in the Bernese and Valais Alps rock climbing, hiking and crossing glaciers, with most nights in mountain huts. The second week is a sailing cruise off the northwest coast of Svalbard, learning navigation and teamwork aboard. Participants need a fitness level suited to demanding mountain activities and swimming, and the 2027 camp runs 4 to 19 July at CHF 16,300.
Schedule
Week 1: alpine hiking, rock climbing, via ferrata, glacier and crevasse crossings, daily camp set-up in mountain huts. Week 2: yacht sailing and Arctic navigation off Svalbard, swimming and stand-up paddling.

  • Deposit CHF 1,000, non-refundable
  • The CHF 1,000 deposit is non-refundable. Under the Summer 2026 conditions, cancelling before 1 May refunded 70% of camp fees; after 1 May the deposit and camp fees are retained, and no cancellation insurance is included.
