About This Programme

The Leon Paul Fencing Centre in Hendon runs holiday training camps for young fencers, drawing on more than a century of fencing expertise. Camps are delivered by the centre's own club coaches alongside former and current international fencers and visiting guest coaches, and cater to different weapons, age groups and ability levels. They are a chance for young fencers to sharpen their skills, experience different fencing styles and make new friends.

Instructors: Leon Paul club coaches plus former and current international fencers and guest coaches; past camps led by figures including Olympian Richard Kruse and former GB national coaches.
Schedule: Multi-day camps with daily coaching sessions (typically c.10am-2pm), warm-up and footwork followed by structured and competitive bouting, lunch included

Admission Requirements

Camps are organised by weapon and ability; youth foil and epee camps typically require more than one year of fencing experience, while introductory provision caters to beginners.
