About this programme

London Children's Ballet runs a non-residential performance summer school at its studios in Battersea for dancers aged 9 to 14, with no audition required. Each week includes a daily ballet class, repertoire, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and demonstrations by professional dancers, plus pointe for the 12 to 14 week, ending in a showcase on the last day. In 2026 there was a girls' week for 12 to 14 year olds, a girls' week for 9 to 11 year olds and a two-day boys' intensive for ages 9 to 12. A small number of full and half grants are offered for each summer school.
