About this programme

The Royal College of Art runs a series of summer schools from June to August at its London campuses (Kensington and Battersea) and online. The 2026 line-up includes an Architecture Summer School (on campus, 13-17 July), a Contemporary Art Summer School (online, 13-31 July), Curating Contemporary Art and Design (online, 6-17 July) and The Graphic Novel: Visual Storytelling (online, 6-30 July). These are advanced, pre-MA level courses aimed at artists, recent graduates, creative professionals and prospective postgraduate students rather than school-age children.

Entry

Advanced / pre-MA level; aimed at artists, recent graduates, creative professionals and prospective postgraduate students. The Architecture Summer School is not suitable for beginners.
