Editorial verdict

Houseroom's view of the school.

overview

St Mary's is considered the leading girls' Catholic boarding school in the UK, with high demand from parents including those outside the Catholic faith. Academic results are described as incredible and are achieved without piling on too much pressure. The school has just under 400 girls (ages 11–18) and maintains a small-school feel, with no risk of pupils being overlooked. It is larger than close neighbours Heathfield and St George's Ascot.
