In 2024, Bristol Grammar School achieved exceptional academic results. In the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, the cohort's average score was 37.7, with one student attaining a perfect 45 out of 45, a feat achieved by under 1% of candidates worldwide. In A-Level examinations, 53% of the nearly 500 exams taken received top grades, and over a third of students secured three or more A*/A grades. Notably, 16 students achieved three or more A* grades. In GCSEs, a third of exams were awarded the top grade of 9, and more than half of results (55%) were at grade 8 or 9. Six pupils achieved a clean sweep of grade 9s, with five of them taking 11 GCSEs. In May 2023, the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) conducted an Educational Quality Inspection and rated the school as 'Excellent' in both the quality of pupils' academic and other achievements and the quality of pupils' personal development. In December 2023, Bristol Grammar School was named Southwest Independent School of the Year 2024 in the Sunday Times Parent Power Schools Guide, recognizing its academic excellence and contributions to the community.
