Houseroom EditorialOur take
Our take
Independent girls prep school in Kensington and Chelsea for ages 3–11. Selective entry, Church of England ethos.
- Families looking for a prep school covering ages 3–11.
- Parents who want a single-sex environment for their daughter.
- Families who value a Church of England ethos in school life.
- Children who can demonstrate strong academics at entry assessment — this is a selective school.
- Selective entry — assume some form of assessment at the relevant entry point. Plan tutoring or familiarisation early if needed.
- The Church of England ethos shapes assemblies, holidays and pastoral life. Comfortable for committed families; worth thinking about for those of other or no faith.
- Single-sex (girls). Comfortable for some children, less so for others — worth a visit on a normal teaching day rather than only an open-day showcase.
