Our take
Independent girls prep school in Kingston upon Thames for ages 3–11. Non-selective intake, catholic ethos, established SEND provision.
Best for
- Families looking for a prep school covering ages 3–11.
- Parents who want a single-sex environment for their daughter.
- Families who value a catholic ethos in school life.
- Families who would rather not put their child through a selective entrance assessment.
- Children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, mild speech and language disorders and related needs — SEND is a stated specialism.
Watch-outs
- The catholic ethos shapes assemblies, holidays and pastoral life. Comfortable for committed families; worth thinking about for those of other or no faith.
- Single-sex (girls). Comfortable for some children, less so for others — worth a visit on a normal teaching day rather than only an open-day showcase.
