Our take

Independent girls all-through school in Sutton for ages 3–18. Selective entry.

Best for
Who thrives here
  • Families wanting one school across the whole journey (ages 3–18) rather than separate prep + senior.
  • Parents who want a single-sex environment for their daughter.
  • Children who can demonstrate strong academics at entry assessment — this is a selective school.
Watch-outs
Know before applying
  • Selective entry — assume some form of assessment at the relevant entry point. Plan tutoring or familiarisation early if needed.
  • SEND provision isn't documented in our profile. If your child has an EHCP or specific learning needs, ask admissions about case-by-case capacity before applying.
  • Single-sex (girls). Comfortable for some children, less so for others — worth a visit on a normal teaching day rather than only an open-day showcase.

Wellbeing

Our visitors say that they know what our Prep School is all about the moment they step through the front door: our smiling, happy girls who are kind to each other and the staff. This special atmosphere comes from an ethos which celebrates every individual girl for who she is, and a personalised pastoral care programme that catches problems before they start.
