About this programme

Pony Club camps are organised separately by each Pony Club branch or centre, so formats, dates and fees vary. National guidance describes mini camps for very young riders on the lead rein, junior camps of three to four days for younger members up to about 11, senior residential camps of five to seven days where children care for their own stabled ponies, and short boot camps for members aged 16 and over. Pony Club presents camp as a highlight of branch membership, though its guidance notes some camps also admit non-members.

  • Mini Camp: for the very young Member often on a lead rein
  • Junior Camp Up to age 11: younger Members off lead-rein
