In March 2026, Devonshire House Preparatory School reported exceptional early results for its Year 6 pupils, with 13 offers from Merchant Taylors’ School, 10 from University College School (UCS), 8 from South Hampstead High School, 10 from Mill Hill School, and 16 from Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park. Additionally, 17 scholarships were awarded. In March 2024, the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) conducted an inspection of the school. The report highlighted that the school met all standards, including those related to leadership and management, quality of education, pupils' physical and mental health, and safeguarding. The inspectors recommended implementing an effective system for evaluative monitoring of teaching and learning, systematically using academic data to monitor pupils' progress, and reviewing the relationships and sex education programme to better meet the developmental needs of pupils across all age groups. In September 2022, the school appointed a new head, Mr. Henry Keighley-Elstub. Since March 2022, Devonshire House has been part of Dukes Education, which operates as a local governing board.
