About Phoenix Place
Phoenix Place is a small Not-for-Profit specialist school for girls with social, emotional, mental health needs, SEN, attachment difficulties and/or additional complex needs. The school supports students with ASD/Aspergers, ADHD/ADD, Anxiety, Mental Health & Emotional difficulties, Attachment Difficulties/Disorders, ODD, Speech, Language & Communication Difficulties, Learning Difficulties, adverse childhood experiences (ACE's) and Dyslexia. It provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment to build self-esteem, confidence, and re-engage students in learning. The school offers full-time education for students in Key Stages 3 and 4, mostly with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP), but also accepts non-EHCP referrals. The aim is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for successful transition to apprenticeships, college, or work.
