About this programme

ActionQuest runs live-aboard summer sailing and scuba adventures for teenagers, mostly in the British Virgin Islands, with further trips in the Caribbean Leeward Islands and Australia. Most 2027 voyages last 21 days (some 17 or 10 days) and combine sailing, scuba, marine biology, watersports, service and island exploration, with sailing and PADI certifications depending on the voyage. Tuition covers accommodation, meals, ground transport from the start location, staff supervision, certifications and excursions; flights, insurance and dive materials are extra.
Teachers
Professional sailing instructors and PADI-certified scuba professionals lead the live-aboard programmes.

Entry

Entry-level voyages (e.g. Vega) require no prior experience and are open to all ages within range; advanced scuba and marine-biology voyages (Neptune, Dolphin) are for ages 15+.

  • Deposit $1,000
  • 75% of the deposit is refundable until 1 January of the programme year, after which deposits are non-refundable. Full tuition is due 120 days before the start date and is non-refundable after that due date; optional travel protection insurance is offered.
