In May 2023, Finton House School underwent a 'Focused Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection' by the Independent Schools' Inspectorate, receiving 'Excellent' ratings in both 'Pupils' academic and other achievements' and 'Pupils' personal development'. In June 2025, the Chair of Governors, Liz Buckley, retired, and James Vickers succeeded her as Chair in July 2025. In January 2024, Miss Catherine Gomez joined the school as Deputy Head Pastoral. In 2023, 37 pupils made 132 applications to 39 different senior schools, resulting in a 74% offer rate, with each child receiving at least one offer. Additionally, 24 scholarships and exhibitions were awarded to 17 pupils. In 2025, the school raised over £4,000 for the Sally Walker Fund through its annual Parent Quiz.
